This is a method of exercise to restore the body's energy and realign your body by getting the force of gravity work for you. A technical discipline is created within this system including activities such as dance, Pilates, cardio-exercises, acrobatics, and especially relaxing and stretching movements. Being enriched by these activities and most importantly turning the gravity into an advantage, this discipline allows you to achieve more flexibility, strength and balance with less energy. Realigning the body is a great tool to purge the body from emotional impurities emerging from the brain. In this technique, gravity works in a synergy with trusting the sense of space. Besides, this discipline lets you experience all this along with the incredible sense of flight.

Blind Date

Blind Date project is based on improvization. The project involves a coincidental and uncharted journey where musicians and dancers move together. Moves and sounds focus on natural and spontaneous situations with a special emphasis on what they form and how they transform. The main goal is the perfect harmony of moves and sounds. Perfect harmony is associated with honestly listening to each other. This association involves responsibility and courage for surrender. Risks shaped at the present time gain value within the frame of a dialogue established by music and movement. This value assures the association of rational and intuitive. Following quote by Leibniz points out this main idea: "Music is a hidden arithmetic exercise of the soul, which does not know that it is counting." Offering a unique and nonrecurring experience in each show at a specific time and place, the Blind Date project proposes an open form.

Ty Boomershine

Ty Boomershine was trained at the Fort Hayes School for the Performing Arts in Columbus, Ohio and earned his B.F.A. in dance from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.

His class is framed by the structure of a Cunningham class as well as incorporating elements from the many choreographers he has worked with which allows for an engaged neutrality that is useful to navigate through various approaches to movement. His class focuses on rhythmic, spatial, and physical clarity, encouraging the use of mental as well as physical prowess. Leaving behind the idea of a fixed ‘front’, the class explores the use of all spatial directions and works with the concept of using the center of the body as a generator for movement, freeing the extensions of the body to work independently, while combining this with a sense of coordination and multi-tasking throughout the body.
