One of Turkey's leading pianists, Ercüment Orkut, who worked with many prominent artists like Terell Stafford, China Moses, Ferit Odman and Kenan Doğulu released his second solo album "Persona" via Lin Records in digital music channels and the launch of the album will take place at Akbank Sanat. In the album where Ercüment Orkut pursues today's New York jazz and sound world, 8 original compositions are interpreted acoustic piano trio format. Ercüment Orkut said he was influenced by the archetype of the persona created by Carl Jung, founder of psychiatry and analytical psychology. In 2016 he had the opportunity to work with the legendary names like Matt Mitchell, Miguel Zenon, Aaron Parks, Stefano Battaglia and Franco D’Andrea at the Siena Jazz Workshop in Siena, Italy. Last year, he performed as a soloist on the Istanbul leg of the “La La Land in Concert” tour where “La La Land” music by Justin Hurwitz which returned with the Best Music and Best Original Song awards from the 89th Academy Awards, was performed live.
