As one of the most internationally recognized pianists from Turkey, his works travelled all over Europe and the States. His recognition in mixing different music cultures and his bond with Turkish music creates an extraordinary show to the audience. Since his first album in 1994, Atakoglu has released 14 albums in 17 countries and has sold over 2 million albums. By Jazziz and Jazz Times magazines, he has been shown as one of the most talented Turkish pianists and this year he will perform at Akbank Jazz festival with legendary bassist Matthew Garrison and one of the world's best drummers Horacio El Negro Hernandez.
