YAKUZA (DJ SET)
Turkish native Can Utkan aka DJ Yakuza's career began when he was playing in several clubs in Tokio.
He moved back to Turkey in 1999 and began working in Radio Oxigen, created his own fabulous style by attaching himself mainly to drum'n bass and break-beat styles . DJ Yakuza also collaborated with acclaimed jazz musicians with his producer identity. Yakuza formed "Orient Expressions" band with Cem Yıldız, Richard Hamer and Murat Uncuoğlu where they created a synthesis of Turkish melodies and sounds with electronic and jazzy sounds. In 2008, DJ Yakuza has relased his first solo album "Labyrint". Known as Istanbul's one of the most eclectic and joyful electronic DJs, get ready for a cheery performance by DJ Yakuza.
