GRAND PIANORAMAX FEATURING CELENA GLENN AKA BLACK CRACKER
Pianist Leo Tardin's one man show "Grand Pianoramax" will take place in Akbank Jazz Festival with his extraordinary performance which is a great mix of jazz, electronic and hip-hop music.
Winner of the first Montreux Jazz Festival International Piano Solo Competition, Leo Tardin conceived Grand Pianoramax as a live keyboards/drums duo with guest MCs/vocalists, blending powerful analog-synth bass, syncopated keys, organic drumming and freestyle rap / spoken word from the vocal guests. He will be joined onstage by Brooklyn-based poet wizard Celena Glenn aka Black Cracker (Cocorosie, Bunny Rabbit), Releasing Grand Pianoramax's first album "Starlite" in 2004, "Obliqsound" in 2005 and "The Biggest Piano in Town" in 2008, Leo Tardin has become an important jazz artist. After his album works, he went on world tour and caught attention of music lovers.
