Akbank Puppet and Traditional Shadow Theater was established in 1974 and plays a key role in sustaining traditional theater in Turkey.
Pioneered by the master shadow play artist Tacettin Diker, the theater has reached thousands of people. While preserving the traditional structure of Karagöz, the show also has a modern approach. Akbank Puppet and Traditional Shadow Theater is also appreciated by international community.
