One of the biggest pioneers of Latin-Rock in the world, Carlos Santana was here in Istanbul again under Wings sponsorship after 20 years! Organized by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, the concert was held in Kuruçeşme Arena on July 6th, Monday night.
One of the biggest pioneers of Latin-Rock in the world with more than 90 million album sales, 13 Grammy awards and many golden record and music awards in his nearly 50-year music career, Carlos Santana moved the crowd in Kuruçeşme Arena on July 6th, Monday night under the sponsorship of Wings the credit card.
Thousands of Santana fans flooded Kuruçeşme Arena at 18:00. The atmosphere in the arena warmed up with Radio Eksen DJs' music and Santana got on the stage at 21:00 to play his unforgettable songs for two hours. Santana's most popular songs 'Black Magic Woman', 'Smooth', 'Love of My Live', 'Oye Como Va' and 'Jingo' drew loud cheers from the audience.
Nearly 13,000 people watched the performance of Carlos Santana and his band in Kuruçeşme Arena's fabulous atmosphere under the sponsorship of Wings.
Carlos Santana had last come to Istanbul in 1990 for the 18th International Istanbul Festival. After 20 years, this concert he performed for his fans was beyond doubt one of the most exhilarating.
Santana came to Istanbul on Sunday night with his team of 32 people to give the second concert of his European tour, which started on July 4th in Bucharest. Carlos Santana and his band will continue the tour in Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Austria, Germany and England.
