This is the story of a young woman who has to break her family up in order to save it. Esma is a nanny and her husband Davut is a private security guard. Davut applies for a bank loan in order to rescue his brother from the clutches of a loan shark. His brother doesn't re-pay him. The debts of husband and wife exceed their income. There has to be a way out....

Koray Çalışkan is a member of faculty at the Political Science and International Relations Department of Boğaziçi University. Çalışkan, who carries out research on capitalism and markets, is currently working on developing the script of his feature film based on the breakdown of rural Turkey. He plans to film in 2010 on Söke Plain.
