Although generally associated with its "wartime memoirs", Çanakkale is neighboured by Gelibolu on one side and Troy on the other. This documentary tries to provide a different perspective. The first part of the documentary debates what the Anzacs mean to the local people as well as the emotional motivation behind the Anzacs being in Çanakkale. The second part focuses on the city elders in the midst of a period of rapid change and social lifestyle. The documentary also examines civilian actuality. The parts are entitled "Behind the Lights" and "Next to Time".
