JURY
The jury for the Akbank 8th Short Film Festival, 19-29 March 2012, have been announced. As part of the festival, in the fiction and documentary categories of the short film competition, the "Best Picture" for each category will be chosen and the directors of the winning films will be rewarded with 8,000 TL by Akbank Art.
Emel Çelebi, a documentary director, Bora Gökşingöl, a mounter, and Selim Evci, a film director are the preselection jury for the festival.
Jury members for the main jury in the fiction category are Zeynep Özbatur, a producer, Uğur Polat, an actor, Cüneyt Cebenoyan, a screen writer, Seren Yüce, a film director, and Derya Bigalı, director of Akbank Art.
Jury members for the main jury in the documentary category are Yekta Kopan, an author, Ethem Özgüven and Aysim Türkmen, documentary directors, Burçak Evren, a journalist and screen writer, and Derya Bigalı, director of Akbank Art.
Deadline for applications is 31 December 2011, Saturday.
