Setting out with the slogan "Art-ist knows no boundaries!, Düşler Academy brings together volunteer musicians and socially disadvantaged youngsters.
This year festival-goers have the opportunity to both participate in the workshop and also take in a performance by the Social Inclusion Band. The interactive rhythm workshop will take place under the direction of percussion artist Alfred Menhert. The Social Inclusion Band is a socially responsible project founded by AYDER, whose mission it is to bring disabled youngsters together with professional musicians. Musicians who have participated in the past include Baba Zula, Kolektif İstanbul and Sattas.
Interactive Rhythm workshop is free of entry. Since the capacity is limited, please call (0212) 287 88 16 for reservations.
