After studying the piano and composition at some of the most prestigious schools, Selen Gülün began combining her Western education with her Turkish spirit to present a moving sound all her own.
In 2003, while still a student, Gülün was offered the opportunity to study in England by winning the British Council Visiting Artist award. While there, Gülün composed "Right or Wrong" and "The Gates of Heaven" for the Dartford Symphony Orchestra, which led to her gaining recognition from the British press. She has released five albums, among which are "Selen Gülün by Selen Gülün" and "Answers".
