In its 20th year, the Akbank Jazz Festival expands its horizons by including artists from different disciplines in the festival's program. During the panel:
Interaction Through Dance, we will be discussing the subject of dance with moderator Beyhan Murphy and special guests. After completing her education at London's Modern School of Dance she worked together with many companies as a dancer and choreographer. In 1992 she returned to Turkey to found the Modern Dance Group and in effect introduced Turkey to modern dance. Murphy is a visionary artist who has always been a trailblazer in her field and has used Turkish culture as a source of inspiration to create original liberettos such as "Post", "Afife", 'Seyahatname', and 'Barbaros' which have received rave reviews. Filling every aspect of her life with dance, Beyhan Murphy is also known for her work as an art director as well as for her undeniable creativity for which she has one many awards in the international platform.
As the capacity is limited. Invitations can be obtained one hour before the event from Akbank Art Center.
