Mattias Nilsson is regarded as one of the notable pianists of Northern Europe, appropriately influenced by Sweden's rich cultural heritage. The young pianist, who takes after musicians such as Art Tatum, Erroll Garner, Oscar Peterson, Ellis Larkis, Teddy Wison, and Dave McKenna, has become a favorite among music authorities. Nilsson has been using his improvisation skills for many years. He adds to his palette of musical colors by combining rich and varied Swedish musical traditions with original compositions.Listen!
