It is a workshop with Cem Ertekin, who has been an artistic director and classical ballet instructor for more than 45 years, with the aim of providing training for professional and amateur dancers to increase their stage performance with classical ballet technique.

About Cem Ertekin
Cem Ertekin was born in Istanbul in 1949. In 1972, he founded Çağdaş Bale Topluluğu (together with Nildan Tuğbay) at Kadıköy Halk Eğitim Merkezi. The first show of Çağdaş Bale Topluluğu was performed on the stage of Kadıköy Eğitim Merkezi in 1972. In 1980, he joined the Istanbul Belediye Konservatuarı together with the dancers of the Çağdaş Bale Topluluğu. When the conservatory, where he started teaching choreography, was affiliated with Istanbul University in 1986, he became Asst. Assoc. Then he was appointed as director of the Ballet Department. He handed over his position as in March 1990 and continued his choreography studies independently until 2020 as the Artistic Director of the Çağdaş Dans Topluluğu for 48 years.
Ertekin continues to choreograph and give ballet classes for professional dancers.
