ALPHABET Experimental Photography Workshop (Adult Workshop)

The ALPHABET Experimental Photography Workshop starts by providing participants with a general theoretical knowledge about the art of experimental photography. Then, the participants choose a letter from A to Z and produce an artifact based on a word starting with this letter. This process is put into practice with the cyanotype printing (solar printing) workshop.

The workshop program proceeds as follows:

1. Physical theoretical knowledge and printing-transfer course: (3 hours) Participants receive face-to-face theoretical and practical training.

2. Online progress session: (2 hours) Participants receive guidance and feedback during the development process of their projects.

3. Exhibition and evaluation meeting: (3 hours) All groups come together physically, exhibit their works and discuss them Decently.

This workshop aims to create a sharing space where participants can showcase their creative works and unique perspectives specific to each letter. It is aimed to discuss production processes, share different perspectives and support creative expressions.

Note: Upon request, participants can bring negative visuals or objects printed on acetate while coming to the workshop.

* Registrations for the workshop program will be taken separately for 6 different groups, with dates specified on the program page. Each participant can apply to only one workshop group and must maintain attendance on both the online and physical workshop dates for the group they register for. Registrations for each group will be limited to 25 participants. Participation is open and free for everyone over the age of 18, and the necessary materials will be provided in the workshop.
