How are Online Screenings done?
The online screenings of the 19th Akbank ShortFilm Festival will be held free of charge via Festivalscope and Shift72 platform, which is frequently used by international film festivals.
From which address will the screenings beheld?
The screenings will be held on the website of filmonline.akbanksanat.com as of May 2.
How will I watch the festival films?
In order to watch the online screenings of the Akbank Short Film Festival, you need to create an account on filmonline.akbanksanat.com. You can create an account with your e-mail addressand a password of your choice.
You must log in 1 hour before the sessions andbuy tickets for the films you will watch.
Creating a ticket is free. However, we advisenot to be late for the sessions as tickets can be sold out within 1 hour.
After logging into the site with your password, you can watch the films that are available by clicking the watch button.
Is the quota of the screenings unlimited?
No, online films have a certain screeningcapacity. In order for the monitoring to be healthy, the number of people ineach session is limited to 500. The films will be closed for screening when the audience capacity is full.
How long do I have to watch the films after I create a ticket for them?
Screening dates are specified on the program page. The films for which you create a ticket can be watched for 30 hours in 3 days.
Can I stop the film and watch it again, or will I lose my rights as soon as I leave the film?
After you start watching the film, you can stop and start watching it again within 30 hours. After 30 hours, the film will no longer be available to you. During these 30 hours, your access is limited to amaximum of two devices.
Is there an age limit for the films?
Legally, our screenings are subject to 18+ unless otherwise stated.
Do films have subtitles?
All non-Turkish films have Turkish subtitles. Movies with subtitles are indicated in their tags. You have to select this subtitle after starting the movie by pressing the [CC] button on the lower bandof the viewer.
Can I watch from abroad?
Screenings are only open to audiences in Turkey, in accordance with the demands of producers/distributors, in order to provide similar opportunities to festivals abroad.
I forgot user information. What should I do?
If you forgot your password, press the "Forgot Password" button on the login page, enter the e-mail address you used to create an account and follow the link in the password reset e-mail sent to you.
