20th Akbank Short Film Festival, which aims to encourage the production of short films and support new filmmakers, was held between March 25th and April 4th 2024. The festival was hosted by Akbank Sanat, which has made significant contributions to Turkey's art scene by bringing together art enthusiasts. 20th Akbank Short Film Festival, which received a total of 2421 short film submissions from 71 countries this year, held national and international competitions.
The festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and where Nuri Bilge Ceylan was the guest of honor, met with the audience at the Akbank Sanat building, Moda Stage and online. 96 short and two feature films from 41 countries were screened at the festival.
