20th AKBANK SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 'FORUM SCRIPT COMPETITION' FINALISTS ARE ANNOUNCED
Akbank Short Film Festival, which will be held between 25 March and 4 April, has created a festival culture that encompasses art lovers from all ages for 20 years, with the aim of encouraging and promoting new productions, supporting upcoming filmmakers who contribute to the national cinema scene. The finalists of Festival’s ‘Forum: Script Competition’, have been announced.
As a result of the preliminary selection committee evaluations, 8 scenarios were determined as finalists. The project owners who made it to the finals will make presentations to the jury members, director Ceylan Özgün Özçelik, writer Nermin Yıldırım and actor Tansu Biçer, during the festival. Akbank Short Film Forum, which will take place between 27-29 March, will also include workshops and educational meetings.
The scenarist of the work to be selected as "Best Screenplay" will be rewarded with 50,000 TL by Akbank Sanat.
