Hosted by Akbank Sanat, the 21st Akbank Short Film Festival, which has been bringing together cinema enthusiasts for 21 years with its longstanding tradition, aims to contribute to the production of short films and support emerging filmmakers. The festival took place from March 17 to 27. The Competition Section of the 21st Akbank Short Film Festival, which brings new and diverse perspectives to the world of cinema, had received 2,346 short film submissions from 73 countries in both the national and international categories. This year, the Forum section, which hosts a scriptwriting competition, received a total of 534 project submissions. After the jury's evaluations, the winning films and projects are announced.
