Award-Winning Films of the 21st Akbank Short Film Festival at Universities

Bringing together art enthusiasts for over 21 years and making significant contributions to Turkey’s art scene, the 21st Akbank Short Film Festival presents a special selection of award-winning films that will meet students across 50 universities in 32 cities between 3 November 2025 – 9 January 2026.

Organized by Akbank Sanat since 2004 with the aim of promoting short films in Turkey, encouraging production, and supporting emerging filmmakers, the Akbank Short Film Festival will visit 50 universities in 32 cities between 3 November 2025 – 9 January 2026. As part of the event, a special selection created from the award-winning films chosen among 2,346 submissions from 73 countries in the Festival’s competition section will be screened free of charge at the universities listed in the program.
