35th Akbank Jazz Festival
JAmZZ Masterclass Program winners are announced!
Jamzz Masterclass, aiming to create a space for new talents and support young musicians guided Baki Duyarlar, Bulut Gülen, Ediz Hafızoğlu, Kağan Yıldız, Sibel Köse, Şevket Akıncı ve Yeşim Pekiner took place on September 13-14 at BAU Pera Stage with contributions of by BAU Conservatory and Zuhal Music and Umbria Jazz Festival and Berklee College of Music in the scope of 35th Akbank Jazz Festival.
Many talented individuals attending the masterclass, Onur Yalçın (trumpet) ve Savaş Şahin (Trombone) were selected unanimously by the jury of instructors to attend the Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics in 2026. Seven of the participants, İdil Duru Koyuncu (Saxophone), Kemal Mutluergil (Trumpet), Efe Selvi (Guitar), Emre Başer Alp (Guitar), Muhammed Habib Haznedar (Doublebass), Emin Poyraz Urhan (Drum), Abdullah Örs (Drum) will get to showcase his talent at the 36th Akbank Jazz Festival.
