36th Akbank Jazz Festival
JAmZZ Masterclass Program winners are announced!
Jamzz Masterclass, aiming to create a space for new talents and support young musicians guided Baki Duyarlar, Barış Doğukan Yazıcı, Ediz Hafızoğlu, Enver Muhammedi, Sibel Köse, Şevket Akıncı ve Yeşim Pekiner took place on May 16-17 at BAU Pera Stage with contributions of by BAU Conservatory and Umbria Jazz Festival and Berklee College of Music in the scope of 36th Akbank Jazz Festival.
Many talented individuals attending the masterclass, Eyüp Efe Nurlu (piano) ve Selami Baysal (drum) were selected unanimously by the jury of instructors to attend the Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics in 2027. Three of the participants, Doğa Toparlak (trombone), Yunus Emre Hacıoğlu (Guitar), Efe Tekeş (drum) will get to showcase his talent at the 37th Akbank Jazz Festival
