Bünyamin Özgültekin is a founding member of the Unesco AIAP International Plastic Arts Association in 1989 and the International Istanbul Art Fair in 1990. He served as an Advisor to the Rector of Marmara University for 2 terms (8 years). For 3 terms (12 years), he served as the Chairman of the Interuniversity Board Arts Branches Council, the Education Commission, the Associate Professorship Art Design Commission Member of the Inter-University Board, the International Relations Committee of the Arts Education Council, and the CoHE Education Commission, Fine Arts and Conservatory Working Group member. He has been the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at Ayvansaray University since 2020. He has three children and speaks German very well.
