Clay Mural Workshop with Parents (Ages 8-12)

Time: 16:30 – 18:30
Is soil only brown? What if we added colors to it and started painting? In this workshop, we will touch the soil, mix it with sand and mineral pigments, and prepare our own colorful earth paints. Together, we will discover how this material transforms, gains color, and turns into brand-new textures.
Afterwards, choosing figures and patterns inspired by nature, we will apply our colorful mortars to panels using spatulas, brushes, and various tools. Our hands will get a little messy, colors will blend, and each participant’s unique "Earth Painting" will emerge. At the end of the workshop, everyone will be able to take their work home.
* The event will take place at Turhan Selçuk Kültür Evi, in collaboration with İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
