Showing great talent by singing “Over the Rainbow” when only 3, West London-born Ala.ni, later on, did backing vocals to names like Andrea Bocelli, Mary J. Blige and Blur, until 5 years ago, when living in Grenada, she was bestowed with her first-ever song “I’ll Remember” in her dream. So followed the other songs. Flitting between innocence and wisdom, these musical miniatures, when merged with Ala.Ni’s grained, vintage vocal style, evolved into a series of 4 EPs, called You & I. Titled Winter, Autumn, Summer and Spring, these EPs breathed life into the 4 seasons of a desparate and turbulent relationship. The Grenadan singer enjoyed her creativity also when presenting her songs. She recorded them sometimes on a wax cylinder or filmed them on a Super 8. And since then, these songs accrued over 2.5 million streams.
