Alexander Calder and Mobile Sculptures (Ages 6-12)
Instructor: Barış Karayazgan
Time: 16.30 - 17.30
American artist Alexander Calder revolutionized the world of sculpture in the early 20th century by introducing the concept of the "mobile." Unlike traditional and static sculptures, these pieces move, maintain balance, and constantly change with a gentle breeze or a simple touch, marking a turning point in art history.
Now it is the children's turn! In this workshop, we are designing our own mobile sculptures using a variety of materials, bringing together balance, motion, and creativity. This workshop promises to be an art experience full of fun and discovery!
