In Between Space II

Speaker: Prof. Dr. Ayşen Savaş

Time: 6:00-7:30 pm

When Musography is considered as one of the applied research areas of architecture, the location of the object in the exhibition can be considered as an architectural curation process. The purpose of this process, which requires investigating the physical and symbolic properties of the space and the object to be exhibited, is to visualize the information about the object as well as to make the object visible. How much and how the object is seen, its features that are left in the dark, the design of its relationship with other objects are directly related to the visualization tools. Visual illusions, choices based on taste, technical know-how are the features that shape the design of the exhibition space and support creativity. The purpose of the seminar is to test the possibilities of designing the space between the object and the architectural elements.
