Francesco Martinelli
Renowned jazz writer Francesco Martinelli will be one of the guests of the Akbank Jazz Festival to talk about his new book, The History of European Jazz, which is an overview of the history of jazz in Europe. Having also Zuhal Foçan and Hülya Tunçağ among the guest speakers, at this talk, the striking moments of 100 years long history of European jazz -which usually doesn’t get the attention it deserves as much as the American jazz history- will be discussed.
