Another Nest: Interspecies Architecture (Ages 7-12)
Workshop Coordinator Merve Kireçtepe Salihoğlu
Time: 12:00 - 13:00
What does a nest mean to a living being? A safe space, a need for food and shelter, or the continuity of life itself?
In the Another Nest: Interspecies Architecture workshop, participants explore the habitats and sheltering behaviors of different living beings, rethinking the needs of creatures in nature through the lens of their own world. They then design their own unique insect hotels using natural materials, creating spaces where insects can take shelter.
The workshop brings art and design together with ecological awareness, inviting participants to explore ways of building a shared living space with other creatures.
