Beuys and Celticism - Lale Delibaş

Speaker: Lale Delibaş - Artist

Lale Delibaş completed her undergraduate studies and master's degree at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Her MA thesis was entitled “Joseph Beuys and his Works within the Context of Celtic Culture”. In the same department, she continues her doctorate studies and working on her thesis entitled "An Aryan Myth in the Works of Joseph Beuys: The Lost Continent Atlantis".

Lale Delibaş participated in many exhibitions in Turkey and abroad, some of them are: her first solo exhibition "Lamekân" (Istanbul Mac Art Gallery, 2008), "Spiral / Helix" (Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts, 2017), 2010 International Mardin Contemporary Art Biennial, "Twenty Windows on the World" (UNESCO, Paris, 2010) and Borusan Music House's inaugural exhibition Mind Models: First Show / Mind Models: The First Show ”(2010). 

Lale Delibaş continues her works in Istanbul.
