Bulut Gülen “Su”

Çoğunlukla eşlik çalgısı olarak tercih edilen trombonu solo enstrüman olarak kullanan ender sanatçılardan olan Bulut Gülen, Devlet Konservatuvarı’nda başladığı öğrenciliği boyunca, Bedii Durham ve Aycan Teztel gibi önemli trombon sanatçıları ile çalıştı. Mezuniyeti ardından katıldığı İstanbul Superband ile Dianne Reeves ve Kurt Elling'le birlikte çalma fırsatı buldu. 2009 yılında Arif Mardin özel ödülünü kazandı ve Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra ile katıldığı Montreal Caz Festivali’nde caz dünyasının önemli piyanistlerinden McCoy Tyner ile birlikte çaldı. Benny Golson, Steve Smith ve Jack DeJohnette’la aynı sahneyi paylaşan Güven için hocası Phil Wilson, “Beni son dönemlerde en etkileyen genç, bu Türk tromboncu” demiştir. Kendi bestelerinden oluşan ilk albümü "Su"yu geçtiğimiz yıl yayınlayan Bulut Gülen halen çeşitli kurumlarda eğitmenliğe devam etmektedir.
