This year, one of the most extraordinary names that festival presents is Butterscotch. It would not be wrong to call Butterscotch “a one-man orchestra” that combines jazz with beatboxing. This young musician who does beatboxing while playing the guitar and the piano is considered as a role model for many people. Her wide range of influences includes Chopin, Coltrane, and genres such as jazz, classical hip-hop, and r&b.
Alp Ersönmez “Cereyanlı” featuring Butterscotch
Butterscotch will share the stage with Alp Ersönmez after her solo performance. Alp Ersönmez is known in Istanbul to be a member of many music projects such as the Quartet Muartet, Kangroove, İlhan Erşahin’s İstanbul Sessions.
