Gizem Gündoğdu, who will be the guest of Akbank Jazz Festival within the scope of Jazz In The Evening program, began her musical life by winning a place in the Corne d'Or International French Song Contest she attended while studying at Galatasaray University. She received a scholarship from Bahçeşehir University Jazz Certificate Department, she took jazz vocal and jazz theory lessons from musicians such as Sibel Köse and Baki Duyarlar during her studies at the department and graduated in 2018. On an autumn evening inviting jazz, pianist Baturay Yarkın will accompany Gizem Gündoğdu on stage. Born into a musical family, Yarkın was accepted first in the Istanbul University State Conservatory at the age of 6 and continued his musical journey with his projects both in Turkey and abroad. During his musical career, he released four albums: Su, One, Blue Love and Anadolu'nun Renkleri.
