Having met with the listeners in the previous editions of Akbank Jazz Festival, Cenk Erdoğan will take stage at the festival with a special project this year. Performing in Turkey and abroad with his eponymous trio, this time Cenk Erdoğan is setting out on an expedition from Tanburi Cemil Bey to the depths of Anatolia with ney player Muhammed Ceylan and kemancha player Emre Erdal. You are invited to this exciting journey where Turkish makam music, as well as Cenk Erdoğan’s compositions, will be translated into jazz arrangements.
