The successful actress Damla Sönmez, who has starred in many award-winning films such as Bornova Bornova, Across the Sea, Ayla, Thou Gild'st the Even, Sibel and Çukur, is among the most talked-about actors of recent years with her projects on cinema, television and digital platforms. An interview will be held with the award-winning actress Damla Sönmez, moderated by director Selim Evci, about her acting career, how she prepares for a role and the key points of the director-actor relationship.

Biography

In 2009, she starred in Bornova Bornova and won the "Best Supporting Actress" at the 46th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, [4] alongside other awards at the Sadri Alışık Awards and the Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival. She won the Best Actress Award at 21st Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and at the Milano International Film Festival (MIFF) for her role in the film “Across the Sea.” Damla Sönmez won the Best Actress Award at the 45th Seattle International Film Festival and at Adana Golden Boll Film Festival for her performance in “Sibel”.
