While being an avant-garde jazz trumpeter, who never strays away from his own style, Dave Douglas has worked with various musicians from Suzanne Vega to Sheryl Crow, from John Zorn and Patricia Barber as a covetable virtuoso in the world of music. The American musician, who has received nominations such as “Jazz Musician of the Year”, “Jazz Album of the Year” and “Jazz Trumpeter of the Year” by the famous jazz magazine Down Beat, is a very productive composer with 43 album releases. Incorporating jazz, classical music, electronic and klezmer music into his compositions, Dave Douglas recorded his 2015 release titled “High Risk” with a very exciting electro-acoustic band. The master trumpeter, who says “We wanted to make you feel under risk” about his album, will be giving a concert with his band consisting of bass, drums and a DJ, ideal for people searching for new things in music.
