In 1990, the Dutch artist and writer Louwrien Wijers organized a five-day conference titled, "Art meets Science and Spirituality in a Changing Economy,” which brought together scientists, economists, thinkers and artists, including the Dalai Lama, John Cage, Robert Rauschenberg, David Bohm, Stanislav Menshikov, Mother Tessa Bielecki, and Marina Abramovic. The landmark event brought leading voices across industries in conversation to address the current global paradigms and propositions for a stronger future.
