Deniz Taşar “Uykuda Bir Bulut”
Deniz Taşar began singing in high school with the Robert College Orchestra and following the “Best Cover” award she received at the 2013 JAmZZ Akbank Jazz Festival Young Talents Contest and the Nardis Young Jazz Vocals Contest, she represented Turkey in the semi-finals of the Jazz Vocals contest held in Estonia. Deniz Taşar took part in Istanbul Jazz Festival for two years with the band she won the İKSV Young Jazz contest and she continues to perform at various venues. She released the album ‘Chapter One’ in 2016 as the bass & vocal duo ‘Songs From A Breeze’ featuring Şentürk Öztaş, followed by her solo album ‘Uykuda Bir Bulut’ of which all the songs were written and composed by herself.
