In the second event of the talks series Helena Nikonole will talk about Text-to-Image, Artificial Intelligence image generator. These approaches became very popular in recent months with the easy-to-use interfaces of Dall-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and many more. The talk will focus on the history and theory of Text-to-Image generators as well as the specific issues of Artificial Intelligence and its influence on visual culture.
Helena Nikonole
Helena Nikonole is a new media artist, independent curator and educator currently based in Istanbul. Her field of interests embraces hybrid art, bio-semiotics and Artificial Intelligence. One part of her work is dedicated to utopian scenarios of post-human future while another is focused on dystopian present and critical approach to technology.
