Berlin-based duo Africaine 808 member Hans Reuschl, was known as a street-art/photography mainstay of the German music scene. He adopted the Nomad name in the late '00s and began DJing at a Berlin party called Vulkandance. In 2006, he drew more attention with his remarkable Boiler Room performance. Combining tropical beats with electronica, he will carry his innovative approach to the Akbank Jazz Festival.
