The calculating, organizing rationality of the mind meets the creative power of chaos on the plane of art. From the way psychedelic experiences dissolve consciousness to Michael Pollan’s existential discoveries, we examine how art and expanded consciousness blur the boundaries of the "self". Between the suffocating nature of order and the daunting nature of chaos, we reveal the aesthetic stage where the mind generates new meanings.
