Ediz Hafızoğlu “Nazdrave” & Arkadaşları
Drummer Ediz Hafızoğlu, is a studio and concert musician working with not only jazz, but also pop, rock and ethnic music bands. Beginning in the village of Paisevo, Bulgaria and currently continuing in Istanbul, his entire career carries the traces of multicultural music. Hafızoğlu released his debut album of jazz and world music genres, “Nazdrave”, from his own record company in 2014. His second release was a compilation of live performances of “Nazdrave”, accompanied by the Norwegian saxophonist Harald Lassen. Hafızoğlu will take the stage with accomplished vocalists such as Jülide Özçelik and Ülkü Aybala Sunat with a project he exclusively created for the 26th Akbank Jazz Festival.
