Having taken part in a number of jazz projects as a performer, composer, and arranger for many years, Ercüment Orkut introduces his first solo album “Low Profile” with the festival attendees. Having studied piano and composition at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, State Conservatory, started jazz lessons with Aydın Esen. Developing his technique abroad, he won several awards with his compositions and performances. In his first, mainly fusion album, his longtime accompanists, Alper Yılmaz, Volkan Öktem, and Sarp Maden, also took place. The producer of the album, George Whitty, who has been awarded the Grammy award 3 times, said about the pianist “With his striking sentences and confident playing style, as well as his sense in music, Ercüment Orkut has been one of the best discoveries I have made in recent years.”
