“Shadows Tell Stories” tells three folk stories from different islands of Indonesia through shadow techniques, both traditional and contemporary. The stories involve the audience in traditional landscapes of the huge archipelago. The company brings together different traditions to explain stories and bring to life performances full of meaning and with new meanings. The company was created by the Catalan puppeteer and visual artist, Clementina Kura-kura, and by the Argentinian director, actor and playwright, Damián Bojorque. They also collaborate with other artists in their plays.
Susanna Bologna, Italian actress, joins the group in the most recent performances, as sound designer and brings a new dimension.
