One of the performers of the festival who will interact with listeners with a workshop as well as his performances is Helge Lien. Helge Lien’s workshop will focus on solo piano improvisations, using different musical parameters like dynamics and also alternative composition techniques in order to create interesting new musical stories and illusions. These principals could easily be transferred to any other instrument, and are working regardless of genre.
