Founded in 2019, Hend is a band which makes music in the lines of R&B and hip hop with an electronic base. Aiming to bring out experimental sounds through an avant-garde setup on stage and when recording, the group’s vocal, keyboard and guitar partitions are partly taken on by Erkin Sağsen whereas Ozan Hatipoğlu is on production, guitar and keyboards. In the rhythms section is Tarık Can Sürmen, synthesizing electronic and acoustic drums.
Hend released their first EP Part1 in 2019. After preparing and releasing videos for tracks “Kayıp Sayıl” and “Acelem Yok”, they respectively released the singles “Lekem”, “Kaygan Yol”, “İllüzyon”, “Ne Bileyim Gibiyim” and the live album Live at Ibis Music together with their videos. Starting a new single series with the track “7’den Geri Say” in June 2022, Hend has come our way most recently past august with “Çaresi Yok”, which stands separately amongst the team’s usual work in terms of tonality.
