Upcycling: Paper Sculpture Workshop (Ages 6-10)
Workshop Coordinator: Barış Karayazgan
Time: 15.00 - 16.00
Paper turns into a drawing first, then into a three-dimensional sculpture!
In this workshop, we will start by making our dream pictures on recycled paper. Then we will set off on an adventure to turn these pictures into three-dimensional, lightweight paper sculptures that can be hung in the air.
Along the way, we will talk about recycling and upcycling, and there will be plenty of cutting, tearing, crumpling, painting, imagining, and coming up with creative solutions. And there's no rule that says "You can't exercise while making art!" We will bring art and sports together and play a surprise basketball-shooting game waiting for us inside the workshop.
* The event will take place at the Sefaköy Culture and Art Center - Adnan Özyalçınar Children's Library in collaboration with Küçükçekmece Municipality.
Address: Tevfikbey, Maslak Çeşme Cd., 34295 Küçükçekmece/İstanbul
