Here comes the “Wonderland” project, with musicians who can see the “wonderland” in the chaotic atmosphere of Istanbul. His playing technique has been compared to Sonny Rollins and Joe Henderson, yet Erşahin found his own voice a long time ago. İlhan Erşahin formed the band together with clarinetist Husnu Şenlendirici, who is a respected musician with his performances in various genres. The band creates its eclectic soundscape, merging the traditional and the modern. Wonderland is an observant and candid expression of Erşahin's relationship with Istanbul and his interest in Turkish music. You will travel to a beautiful dreamland with this concert which will deliver the audience a blend of dub, trip-hop, electronic jazz, Balkan and Roman music on a melodic wavelength.
