Jazz In High Schools workshop, once again this year, will be one of the most creative activities at the festival. This annual event, which is held free of charge at listed schools, aims to introduce jazz to high school students and grow an appreciation in them for this genre. Within the scope of the program, they learn which key points musicians pay attention to during the creation process and they have the opportunity to get to know the jazz instruments closely thanks to question and answer sessions with renowned musicians. This year's inspiring guests are Yavuz Akyazıcı Project, composed of virtuoso guitarist Yavuz Akyazıcı, jazz singer Funda Akyazıcı and drummer Burak Cihangirli; Yavuz Akyazıcı Project is well known for the series of albums called “Turkish Standards”, which consists of jazz covers of Turkish pop and rock hits.
